Hello Southern Region! I hope that you all are as excited as I am for the year to come. I'm Sarah Jane Abatti, I'm 17 years old, and a senior at Holtville High School. I hail from the Holtville FFA Chapter in the Imperial Section. Through FFA, I have numerous livestock and Ag mechanics projects. I enjoy competing in public speaking contests and I would have to say that Parli Pro is my favorite. Outside of the FFA I actively participate in 4-H, HHS Pep Club, Campus Life, and my church's youth group. Photography, reading, and swimming are just a few of my hobbies. I love to watch movies, hang out with family and friends, and spoil my little sister. Some fun "Snapple facts" about me are that I can't drink and walk at the same time and I seem to always recite my speeches as I am walking my hogs (who are very good listeners by the way). After high school, God willing, I plan on attending Kansas State University and majoring in veterinary medicine. Then I would like to continue on to work in my own clinic as a large animal vet. If my plans as a vet are not successful, the one thing I do know is that I will always be working in a way where I can give back to the organization that gave so much to me, the FFA. I hope that during this year you all will be inspired as we, the Southern Region officer team, jumpstart you to "Excelerate on the Pathway to Success"!
